Since becoming a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in 2003, Sumter Family Health Center (SFHC) has dedicated itself to building a healthy community and improving the individual health, well-being and quality of life for the citizens of Sumter County and its neighbors.
Providing comprehensive primary health services for all ages is a priority for SFHC. Services include family practice, pediatrics, adolescent service, women’s health, and behavioral services.
SFHC provides quality primary care services without regard for a patient's ability to pay and serves as a community resource for eliminating health disparities.
Sumter Family Health Center is a Health Center Program grantee under 42 U.S.C. 254b, and a deemed Public Health Service employee under 42 U.S.C. 233(g)-(n).
